Who you are

Strong communication skills
A minimum of 7-8 years of experience managing software development projects
Ability to work with multi-site cross-functional teams in different time zones
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without specific authority
Expertise in modern project management tools
Power-user for defect tracking, version control, and release management tools
Expertise in modern software development processes and standards (ISO 9000)
Bachelor’s (BS) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Engineering, or a related discipline

What the job involves

The Software Project Manager will be a single point of contact for our QA, hardware, program management, and documentation teams
A successful candidate will work with Product Management and Engineering Leaders to define the project requirements, schedules, and tracking activities to manage feature development
Lead a cross-functional team of tech leads to come up with functional and design specifications, as well as design estimates
Coordinate project definition activity with Product Managers, functional managers, and engineering executives
Lead all software development life cycle phases including design, implementation, developer testing, and documentation
Identify project risks and come up with a mitigation plan
Lead project review meetings, and track/report progress
Ensure process adherence and conduct periodic audits
