Finance Intern, Ultra

• Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in finance, Accounting, or related field
• Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable

• Finance Business Partner working with the Project Managers and team members to ensure accurate capture of actual costs each month. Assisting with regular reporting and analysis against metrics such as utilization, open commitments, labor, and more
• Provide financial support for bids and proposals, reviewing cost estimates, preparing pricing, and ensuring that all the appropriate financial risks and opportunities are addressed
• Support monthly close through timely analysis and maintenance of systems processes related to projects and costs
• Conduct variance analysis, where appropriate, against the original bid, current forecast and budget. Assessing the impact of any risks and opportunities on the overall business performance
• Assist in the development of new Excel-based reporting/analysis tools
