Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Math, Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles, preferably leading small teams
- Experience in B2B SAAS or fintech is highly desirable
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Advanced SQL skills; familiarity with Python or R is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like Snowflake or AWS Redshift
- Strong understanding of data modeling and statistical analysis techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- As the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Manager, you will lead Rho’s efforts to harness the power of data to optimize business operations, improve customer experiences, and inform strategic decisions
- You will oversee a small team of analysts, collaborate with stakeholders across departments, and champion the use of advanced analytics tools and methodologies

- Develop and execute Rho's business intelligence strategy to support company objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of BI analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and align analytics efforts with business goals
- Analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Looker or Tableau
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Compliance, Credit, and Customer Service to provide data-driven recommendations
- Act as a bridge between business units and technical teams (e.g., data engineering) to prioritize data needs and improve infrastructure
- Collaborate with data engineers to design reporting models in the data warehouse
- Automate manual reporting processes to enhance efficiency
- Advocate for best practices in data governance and integrity across the organization
- Develop self-service BI tools that empower teams to access data independently
- Stay updated on fintech trends, particularly in corporate cards, startup banking, and expense management
- Use market research tools to monitor competitors and provide insights for strategic positioning
