Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, orequivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience developing cloud-based applications and services
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration,automated testing, and deployment pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases, specifically RDSPostgreSQL
- Strong experience developing RESTful API backends
- Strong experience with the Go programming language or willingness to learn it anduse it as the main language for development
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teammembers
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-basedapplications and services, implementing DevOps practices, and working with SQL databases,specifically RDS PostgreSQL. Knowledge of the Go programming language or willingness tolearn it is required, as it’s the main language in use. Experience developing RESTful APIbackends is also necessary. Some Python and Java/Scala experience is a plus.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services using currentcloud technologies
- Implement DevOps practices to improve the efficiency and reliability of ourdevelopment and deployment processes
- Work with SQL databases, specifically RDS PostgreSQL, to design and maintainefficient database structures and queries
- Develop and maintain RESTful API backends using Go as the main programminglanguage for development
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues andimplement new features
- Write and maintain technical documentation to ensure consistency and knowledgetransfer
