Who you are
- You are studying (or have finished) a degree that focuses on Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
- You are based in Berlin
- You are available for, at least, 20h a week
- You enjoy new challenges and are excellent at working with others as part of a team
- You can manage tasks, projects, and priorities on your own to get things done well and on time
- You are able to adapt to new situations and come up with fresh ideas or innovative approaches
- Nice to have: prior experience in any HR area
What the job involves
- Assisting with tasks throughout the entire talent acquisition cycle, including sourcing, candidate communication, interview scheduling, ATS maintenance, and KPI tracking
- Supporting our people operations in the administration and maintenance of employee documents and data
- Helping to build an outstanding employee experience, including onboarding, office management, events, and implementation of culture initiatives, etc
Our take
Demands on the education system are changing at a rapid rate, and Knowunity is one of a wave of EdTechs looking to revolutionise education and meet the demands of Gen Z.
Knowunity sets itself apart from most online education platforms, that tend to offer traditional tutoring/teaching systems, by being a completely peer-to-peer platform. The site relies on student creators (called "Knowers"), who share their notes and guidance with their followings. This flatter and more collaborative system has proven popular, with the platform now boasting millions of users.
After establishing a strong user-base in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Poland, the company went on to launch into the UK and Italian markets. Fresh funding will see Knowunity eye up further expansion into the US, alongside Spain and possibly further continents in the near future.
