Role
Who you are
- Business or marketing background, ideally educated to degree level & with digital marketing experience
- Experience within a fast-paced premium consumable marketing department, ideally beauty, with an understanding of multi-channel business
- Have a passion for skincare and cosmetics
- Experience in launching products with an experiential 360 consumer-centric viewpoint
- Is digitally-savvy, with an understanding of trends and an ability to respond to consumers' behaviours & needs
- Creatively-minded with the ability to develop a strong brand vision; not afraid to think blue sky and raise the bar to deliver standout global campaigns
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills, able to influence and inspire any audience with the highest focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills and good commercial acumen, to enable you to work closely with the commercial and finance teams
- Experience with coaching & mentoring people, ensuring each individual has clarity on their impact & objectives, and with a focus on developing their skills and capabilities
What the job involves
- The Brand team plays a key role within Medik8 by producing exciting assets that build out our campaigns, drive sales on and offline, plus developing and engaging our social media communities
- Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, you will create outstanding marketing tools for Medik8 to be a worldwide highly rated professional-led skincare brand
- Manages the 360 degree planning of mid-high level Marketing campaigns; overseeing the end-to-end strategic planning, creation, and evaluation
- Develops and delivers brand presentations to internal stakeholders to gain project alignment, including regional teams to understand local market requirements
- Drives an online-first mentality, finding disruptive ideas that connect with consumers and deliver strong ROI
- Supports in formulating the brand strategy and vision across all global markets
- Outlines core KPI metrics for all responsible campaigns, working with internal stakeholders to define, track and report on results
- Implements the strategic roadmap for the brand, helping to outline goals and how to out-perform the market
- Keeps on top of the latest global trends in the Skincare and Beauty industry, particularly across digital platforms
- Develops and rolls out core marketing tools used across global markets, to guarantee the maximum potential of the brand, analysing the success and impact these have to drive better efficiency and growth
- Keeps on top of brand product and category performance to ensure campaigns are insight-led. Has a deep understanding of our regional and market nuances
- Champions the brand and drives visibility, guaranteeing global consistency across all touchpoints both internally and externally
- Works closely with, coaches & develops the Regional teams as they identify business opportunities, to maximise regional growth
- Establishes and maintains great relationships with internal and external partners to drive the best project outcomes
