Who you are

- 2+ years of experience carrying out research projects from start to finish preferred
- Strong interest in digging into quantitative data to uncover insights and present data in persuasive ways
- Expertise in applying research methodologies such as usability testing, interviews, card sorting, and surveys
- An ability to provide design recommendations based on a solid understanding of design patterns and usability guidelines
- A strong commitment to quality – you must be organized, analytical, methodical, and have an interest in improving quality through user research
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information creatively, concisely and persuasively
- An interest in fintech, finance, and financial investing preferred
What the job involves
- Work with designers, product managers, and engineers to determine research objectives
- Prepare research plans, define metrics and outcomes
- Recruit and schedule participants
- Run studies using appropriate research methods
- Communicate tactical and strategic findings
- Collaborate with teams to prioritize design changes and new requirements
- Work with members of the analytics team to understand and aggregate usage trends
- Create research outputs, e.g. reports, task flows, personas, customer journey maps
- Work with the rest of the team to evolve our tools and processes, to help optimize how we do research
- Evangelize and teach others about research methods, benefits, and applications

The Bloomberg Terminal has long since been a staple of visualizing the world of business, but the software pre-dated much of the innovative technology available today. Furthermore, the annual subscription cost is very expensive, despite only analyzing traditional financial information such as revenue and profits.
Sentieo is an AI-driven financial research software suite that analyzes additional datasets to traditional financial investment terminals. The service uses machine learning to provide visualizations based on web traffic, earnings call transcripts, press releases, and other business success indicators.
The concept behind Sentieo is unique as it recognizes the lack of innovation in financial terminals despite the plethora of new business information that web users have at their disposal. Despite offering both traditional and futuristic financial insight, Sentieo is half of the price of the traditional Bloomberg Terminal subscription fee.
