Who you are

  • Min. 3 years of practical experience in Digital Marketing (ideally Onsite Marketing or Performance Marketing)
  • Preferably experience from an e-commerce or online marketplace
  • Strong project management skills, familiar with agile working environments
  • Experience with advertising tooling (e.g. AdOps for Google Ad Manager) is a plus
  • Proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships
  • Strategic “full funnel” view and ambitious yet unpretentious with a “can do attitude”
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German & English

What the job involves

  • Lead, develop and implement successful Onsite Marketing initiatives on Web and in the Apps with the objective to increase user acquisition & engagement and improve key metrics (i.e. feature usage, awareness of product updates…) with focus on private users
  • Measure, supervise and analyze the success of your Onsite Marketing activities, including campaign results and future recommendations in close coordination with analytics and other collaborators and team members
  • Oversee the holistic Onsite Marketing campaign plan to prioritize, orchestrate and coordinate campaigns across all business units and areas
  • Design, develop, and maintain product landing pages to ensure they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions
  • Collaborate with product, design and brand team to ensure accurate and appealing presentation of product and consistent brand messaging
  • Strategic “full funnel” view and improve the onsite customer experience, including marketing & product touchpoints
  • Be agile and rapidly iterate on strategy based on findings
  • Find pragmatic solutions within given resource context
  • As a Digital Marketing team we empower our private and commercial customers to joyfully trade on Kleinanzeigen across Web and App
  • We help our users along the customer lifecycle and journey through digital initiatives (Performance & Mobile Marketing, Onsite, CRM) to find or to sell the item or service of choice and promote their business by expanding their reach, enhancing visibility, and connecting with a diverse audience

Our take

Adevinta Spain is part of the global Adevinta family, which is publicly listed in its native Norway. The company as a whole is one of the world’s largest classified marketplace companies, boasting a portfolio of around 50 brands in over a dozen countries, and employing close to 10,000 people.

The Spanish arm owns a number of the country's top digital classifieds marketplaces including Fotocasa, InfoJobs, and Milanuncios. At a time when larger companies are acquiring scores of eCommerce startups – a concept dubbed “eCommerce rollups” – it’s really interesting that Adevinta seems to have made quite the head start.

Indeed the fact that Adevinta isn’t going after D2C brands, but the marketplaces themselves, is clever. Considering that well over $2 trillion is spent annually on online marketplaces, Adevinta Spain (as well as Adevinta as a whole) is operating from a position of strength in an extremely lucrative market, especially since a buyout by Blackstone and Permira in November 2023 was initiated. This will further bolster Adevinta's position as a market leader under strong new ownerhsip.
