Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years of related experience, master’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, or equivalent related work experience
- You have led growth initiatives for a minimum of 5 years with a focus on growing SaaS businesses
- Build consensus and listen well, but can also drive hard decisions. You push the pace. You take blame and pass the praise. People love working with you
- Excels at communicating with team, partners, and executives with clarity, salience, and urgency

- Knowledge of the shipping industry including USPS

- Experienced in iterative product development including productizing and scaling a platform
- Flawless product craft and business acumen; expert in balancing user and business impact as well as short- and long-term impact
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Manager for EasyPost’s USPS product offering, you will be responsible for leading and managing the roadmap, product life cycle and strategy for this product offering
- USPS is the foundation of EasyPost’s multi carrier offering and plays a crucial role in our future growth
- Drive a critical growth product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Provide mentorship to junior Product Managers
- Build and prioritize a strong, creative backlog of ideas focused on improving and enhancing the USPS feature set
- Lead and guide product direction for cross-functional projects across engineering, analytics, marketing, sales, and platform partners
- Be the voice of the customer and help provide context, empathy and rationale behind customer needs
- Communicate clearly with leadership and drive alignment across multiple teams
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders
- Make data-informed decisions. Know how you’re measuring success before starting any project
Our take
EasyPost's multi-carrier shipping API allows e-commerce businesses to easily switch between logistics companies, track packages, and verify addresses in order to save time and money.
When the company emerged from stealth back in 2013, it was hailed by many as the “Stripe for shipping” because of how effectively it enabled developers to integrate postage and shipping into web applications – a common obstacle due to the outdated systems used by legacy carriers like FedEx and UPS.
EasyPost has gone from strength to strength over the years as e-commerce in general has boomed. It's expanded to over 200 countries, and is now considered a market leader in the shipping API niche.
There have also been numerous reports of an imminent IPO, and though nothing has come to pass as of yet, it's a real indication of the company's strength.
