Developing a game not only requires a good concept, but also the technical know-how to bring that concept to virtual life, a fact which has left many creators unable to make the games of their imaginations a reality. Omni Creator Products (OCP) aims to democratize game development, by providing the tools for anyone to create a game without the need for technical expertise.
OCP, founded in 2021, wants every player to be able to make their own game, and is working on a pair of projects to that end. The first is a minimal tool palette for game design, built to be intuitive and accessible to the non-technical. The second is a full-featured social game which creators can use as a base for their own games, modifying only the aspects they want to whilst safe in the knowledge that the rest will continue to function.
The OCP team comprises several industry veterans from an array of successful gaming companies, which bodes well for the future of its product and the space it will find in the market. The company has been focused on hiring additional talent to accelerate the development of its projects.
