Role
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience in content marketing with a strong portfolio of web, SEO and CRM content
- You have proven experience creating and executing a content strategy that drives traffic, engagement and conversion
- You have strong SEO leadership skills and understand how to build high-intent content that ranks and converts
- You write with clarity, warmth and empathy, especially on sensitive or complex topics
- You have experience improving funnels or journeys through content (landing pages, forms, nurture flows)
- You’re confident managing stakeholders across marketing, product, design and compliance
- You’re highly organised, proactive and comfortable owning projects from idea to delivery
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance quality, research and operational speed
Desirable
- Experience with HubSpot or WordPress
- Exposure to CRO, UX writing or A/B testing to improve conversion
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, legal, healthcare or insurance
- Experience creating lead magnets (guides, tools, checklists) that drive signups or engagement
- A personal or professional passion for end of life planning or supporting families through difficult moments
What the job involves
- Own Aura’s content strategy across web, SEO, CRM, guides, landing pages, and printed materials
- Lead our SEO direction and create high-intent content that grows organic traffic and drives qualified demand
- Play a key role in building the content foundation for Aura’s new end-of-life planning service
- Write clear, compassionate, conversion-focused content that helps families feel informed and supported
- Create and optimise landing pages, funnels and A/B test variants to improve RAQ → Sale performance
- Build standout lead magnets such as checklists, tools and guides to grow engagement and email capture
- Define, shape and protect Aura’s tone of voice across all customer touchpoints
- Manage CRM and lifecycle messaging in HubSpot, including automated nurture flows
- Partner with product marketing, performance, CRO, design and compliance to deliver high-quality, timely content
- Report on content, SEO and CRM performance and use insights to guide future priorities
Our take
In the past, the majority of people have not prepared for death. However, in recent years, an increasing number of people are talking and planning for it as one of life’s key events. Funerals shifting towards meaningful celebration of life parties is a prime example of this.
Aura is an online platform where people facing end of life can leave an online legacy for their loved ones. It was founded in 2017 by Paul Jameson after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, but wanted to embrace life, plan ahead and leave his family in the best position possible.
Since then, it has helped thousands of people tackle their hardships and is now run by Jameson’s family. The company has grown to offer celebration of life funeral planning, end-of-life support and the Aura Circle (a digital community of 30k people). With an important mission, Aura has great potential to build a significant business that impacts lots of people, and has attracted several rounds of angel investment to help it on its way.
