Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of closing experience in a high-velocity SaaS sales environment
- Proven success owning the full sales cycle and navigating contract negotiations
- Experience collaborating with security, legal, and finance stakeholders during the sales process
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach.io, Sales Navigator, or similar sales tools
- A self-starter mindset and passion for refining repeatable, high-volume sales processes
- Strong team player with excellent communication, empathy, and integrity
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-changing, fast-growing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
- Experience at a high-growth tech startup is a strong plus

- In this role, you’ll be instrumental in powering our revenue engine—bringing energy, innovation, and strategy to help scale our business and deliver maximum value to our customers
- You’ll partner closely with a passionate team to help small-to-midsize businesses (SMBs) and Mid-Market customers unlock the full potential of Otter.

- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—for SMB and Mid-Market clients
- Drive new business through a mix of inbound, outbound, and partner-led channels
- Collaborate with fellow sales executives to provide accurate forecasts and insights into revenue performance
- Tailor product demos to each customer’s unique needs, highlighting the value Otter brings to their workflow
- Act as the voice of the customer, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Contribute to the development of scalable sales strategies and top-down selling motions

The company's technology integrates with platforms like Zoom, providing a way to record meetings and convert speech to text in real-time. It then streamlines communications for smarter, more collaborative, and more productive meetings—the first use of conversational AI to turn meetings into an actionable workflow.
This allows people to benefit from captioning, as well as teams to have a written record of the conversation, which can be edited and shared. Its AI can also highlight and comment on important sections of a meeting transcript, and automatically tag action items. The platform is used in more than 230 countries and has transcribed over 100 million meetings.
