Who you are

This is a hands-on role for someone who is process-oriented, highly organised and comfortable working autonomously
Previous experience in marketing, communications, content creation or social media
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong copywriting, communication and creative-thinking skills
A process-oriented, structured and highly organised approach
The ability to work autonomously, take ownership and deliver against agreed deadlines
Confidence managing several tasks and priorities simultaneously
Familiarity with major social media platforms, website content-management systems and content-creation tools
Strong attention to detail and an interest in using performance data to improve results
Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience
Experience using AI tools to automate, scale or improve marketing activities and workflows would be welcome
German-language skills and experience in B2B, logistics, technology or e-commerce marketing would be beneficial

What the job involves

As we continue to expand our network, partnerships and services across all three markets, we are looking for a proactive and creative Part-Time Marketing Associate to join our London team
You will support and coordinate Parcelly’s marketing activities across the UK, Ireland and Germany, covering digital content, social media, events, partner communications and printed marketing materials
You should be able to turn business developments and operational information into clear, consistent and engaging content
Manage and develop Parcelly’s social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube
Create and schedule content that increases engagement, brand awareness and inbound interest
Plan and produce YouTube tutorials and other instructional video content
Develop ideas for campaigns, graphics, infographics and short-form videos
Maintain a structured marketing and content calendar across all three markets
Maintain and update the Parcelly website, landing pages and relevant subpages
Draft and publish website articles, blog posts, newsletters and PR communications
Create and coordinate printed materials, including process manuals, operational guides, posters and in-store marketing materials
Support the planning, preparation and delivery of events, conferences and trade shows
Support B2B partner announcements, case studies and joint marketing initiatives
Monitor logistics, e-commerce and retail-industry developments
Carry out market and competitor research
Track campaign and channel performance and provide concise reports
Help develop efficient, repeatable marketing processes
Support wider online and offline marketing activities as required

Our take

Parcelly’s logistics platform helps eCommerce companies overcome first and last mile delivery obstacles by enabling them to convert excess real estate space into storage spaces, as well as pick-up/drop-off (PUDO) sites for customers.

Though founded in 2014 with a B2C focus on improving the delivery and return experience, the company’s move into B2B has seen it grow rapidly over the last few years. This growth has coincided with the rise in rapid delivery services which are well-served by Parcelly’s hyperlocal distribution hubs. Its customers now include DHL Express, Krispy Kreme and Deliveroo.

The company has already expanded steadily throughout the UK and Germany, but after securing funding from Scania Growth Capital, it’ll look to scale its operations on the continent. It is also growing its footprint in the US following its 2022 entry into that lucrative market, setting it up for even more growth and positioning it for continued success on a global scale.
