Role
Who you are
- 2-4+ years relevant experience in implementations, technical support or sales engineering
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce/API/monday.com
- Experience managing high volume of projects and requests
- The ability to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude, collaborative approach to problem solving, and a drive to take initiative
- Plus: SAAS and/or Wealth Management Experience
- Lastly, you are an organized individual with technical aptitude that can collaborate with ease
What the job involves
- Pontera is looking for an exceptional Implementation Specialist to help us effectively steer the launch of firms for faster, long term success
- You will be responsible for being part of developing this new team as well as leading the implementation of new Enterprise firms
- You will collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure the firms are set up for success
- You will have the opportunity to strategically help create new processes to set this team up for success alongside other Implementation Specialists and the Senior Director of Customer Support
- Be a product/technical expert and own the PMO process throughout implementation, reporting on progress made, status, milestones, etc. throughout utilizing industry best practices
- Build a strong rapport with new clients immediately; showing expertise and earning trust to create a strong relationship
- Work with the product team and bring the voice of the customer from ENT/MM organizations to help prioritize feature requests with the firms during the implementation stage
- Partner with Account Executives & Strategic Relationship Managers to constantly move the implementation forward
- Execute on strategic projects that support the success of Implementation Specialists and Pontera as a whole

Pontera is taken from the Latin for “bridge” and the company’s mission of increasing transparency within the financial world was once focused solely on account holders and legal fees. Since raising another successful round, the company’s platform has concentrated its efforts on an Order Management System for financial advisors.
This about-turn was clearly a smart move for Pontera as it piqued the interest of leading investors. Financial difficulties for FeeX in 2016 resulted in a third of its employees being made redundant. That seems a far cry from the financial advisor platform it is today, and it will hope this continues as it looks to cement its place at the forefront of the industry.
