They have worked with (but not necessarily written) API documentation, especially for AI tools, have informed opinions about the future of AI, and have a strong interest in science

What the job involves

We are looking for an engineer and writer to help copyedit developer materials (API documentation, tutorials) and write broad-reaching technical content (blog posts, white papers)
In this role, you will create content that helps developers understand the role of emotional intelligence in AI, imagine the future of AI interfaces, and integrate our API into wide-ranging applications
You will work closely with our developer relations, product, engineering, and research teams on a diverse range of content

Our take

Hume AI was founded by a researcher in semantic space theory - a data-driven, computational approach to emotional science that has been pivotal in the development of artificial intelligence.

The company has developed products that help AI become more emotionally intelligent, effectively fine-tuning everything from digital assistants to online creative tools to respond appropriately to human emotion. To do this, it uses complex measurements to analyse vocal timbre, pitch and facial expressions.
