Senior Front End Engineer, ezCater

• This role is ideal for someone who is strongest in front-end technologies and can work comfortably on a scalable and maintainable frontend platform. We are looking for an engineer who is self-driven, adaptable and excited to build scalable and maintainable solutions to support our growing business needs
• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Strong software engineering experience building production web applications
• Deep fluency in Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling (e.g., Turborepo, Rspack), with hands-on architectural credibility
• Experience collaborating with product design to build Design Systems that include tokens, theming, cross-platform consistency, documentation for human and AI consumers
• Experience designing front-end architecture, shared components, and maintainable application patterns
• Strong fluency with AI-assisted software delivery and clear judgment about where AI helps and where rigor matters most
• A practical understanding of AI-native workflows, including structured context, iterative loops, and high-quality review and testing practices
• A strong quality mindset across testing, accessibility, performance, telemetry, and production ownership
• Strong communication and a high-ownership approach to technical execution
• Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings and other events, when applicable

• The front end is a first-class product — every API surface is designed to be consumed by multiple channels (marketplace, internal tools, partner API)
• We are looking for engineers who are fluent in an AI-native SDLC
• That means more than familiarity with tools like Claude, Codex, or Cursor
• The right engineer knows how to use AI effectively across planning, implementation, review, testing, and iteration, and understands how to improve the workflows, context, and standards that make AI genuinely useful in engineering
• Build and maintain frontend platform, component library and web applications using modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Build reusable UI patterns, design tokens, components, and evangelize engineering guidance
• Build and maintain a frontend platform that is machine-readable and API-first to serve AI agents alongside human users, with awareness of emerging commerce protocols (MCP, Universal Commerce Protocol)
• Apply AI effectively throughout the software development lifecycle, including implementation planning, coding, review, testing, and quality improvement
• Partner with product, design, and engineering peers to turn ambiguous requirements into well-scoped, high-quality deliveries
• Own quality through testing, accessibility, observability, performance, and safe rollout practices
