Who you are
- 2-3 years experience at top tier consulting, investment banking, high-growth startup, or related fields
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving paired with world class modeling skills. You have extremely high proficiency with Excel and have the ability to independently conceptualize and develop complex models
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities - proven ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear, concise narratives tailored to senior executives
- Comfortable presenting recommendations, fielding pushback, and driving productive decision-making in executive forums
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to run against problems with little direction, experience knowing when and how to escalate effectively
- High energy, high integrity working style with a positive outlook, collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
What the job involves
- Maven is looking for a Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations to shape the future of Maven’s business strategy
- As part of the internal strategy team, you’ll work on fast-paced, cross-functional projects across the organization
- You will leverage strong quantitative and qualitative analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to enhance strategic decision-making and bring ideas into action
- You will report to the Chief of Staff, Product & Operations, and work closely with leaders and their teams on their top priority problems
- Own end-to-end strategy initiatives, from problem framing and hypothesis development through analysis, executive synthesis, and execution support
- Lead quantitative analyses and market research to shape strategic recommendations on top business priorities such as growth strategy, new business line assessment, and other cross-functional priorities
- Build in data and measurement across Maven teams to help improve decision making across teams
- Support strategic annual planning processes and help monitor process through the year
- Act as a thought partner to functional leaders, translating ambiguous questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations

The digital health model delivered by Maven is intended to make healthcare services more accessible: it aims to support those that have been marginalized by the traditional health care system.
This means that Maven forms part of the global digital health market; a burgeoning sector of the Internet economy. Many companies are already delivering digital healthcare solutions: rivals to Maven include Doctor On Demand, Heal, Pager, 98point6 , K Health, Lemonaid, MDLIVE, First Stop Health and HealthTap. However, Maven's focused on marginalised groups is what sets it apart.
Maven has received significant funding as it continues to address areas of underrepresented healthcare coverage, such as treatment of postnatal depression. As the company grows, Maven will use this new funding to continue to personalise its platform and enhance its service's cultural flexibility, increasing its support networks across all stages of family and reproductive life. Recent examples of expansion is new product offering for personalised support for those trying to conceive naturally.
