Role
Who you are
- 3+ years in account management and/or business development
- Ideal candidate would have experience working in high-growth environments, especially a startup
- Fluent English, with a deep understanding of the UK market and culture
- Great communicator and presenter
- Capable relationship builder, with demonstrated success in driving business growth through partnerships/account management
- This is a hybrid working role, with three days from our London office (Blackhorse Road)
What the job involves
- Commercial Relationship Management: you’re the face of our business and our ambassadors. You’ll need to develop strong relationships with our key partners, across all levels of their business, to ensure a good base for growth
- Data Analytics & Reporting: you’re able to analyse large sets of data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement within your strategic account portfolio. You’ll then use this data to drive strategic decisions and growth
- Communication and Negotiation: you can employ excellent communication and negotiation skills to ensure strategic focus with external stakeholders and effective collaboration with third-party providers
- Partner Support: you’re the first point of contact for our key partners and you’ll be managing our major strategic accounts. You’ll provide our partners with support and guidance and link them in with the best people within the Peckwater team who can assist them with their needs
- Cross-functional Collaboration: you’re a great team player and are able to collaborate effectively with other team members to drive growth in your relationships

Our take
Running a restaurant is expensive, and most of the costs are fixed. High street rents, rates, and staff need paying, no matter how many diners visit. Compared to the dark kitchen concept that has grown in popularity since the rise of Deliveroo, the virtual brand model (franchise) offers lower start-up investment for partners and is easier to scale.
Peckwater Brands provides existing kitchen operators with fully-serviced data-driven food concepts which include branding, platform listings, suppliers, recipes, packaging, staff training, and technology. The franchise operations fit into existing businesses, helping boost income.
In 2022, pub giant Stonegate Group was one of several partners to invest substantial funds into Peckwater Brands. This funding is being used to rocket-boost expansion with the aim of becoming the largest kitchen network in the UK. However, to do this, Peckwater Brands must continue its winning streak of hosting robust companies.
