Who you are
- This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer passionate about creating innovative, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on cloud-native applications and a demonstrated track record of leadership in technical roles
- Expertise in JavaScript/Node.js: Extensive experience in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and associated frameworks/libraries (e.g., Express, NestJS), with a focus on large-scale applications
- Front-End Frameworks: Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS), with a strong focus on user experience and performance
- Microservices & API Design: Proven experience in architecting and implementing complex microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
- Database Management: Expertise in designing and managing both SQL and NoSQL databases, with a strong understanding of data modeling and performance optimization
- DevOps Practices: Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence across the organization
- Agile Methodologies: Strong experience in Agile development processes, with the ability to lead sprints and contribute to continuous process improvement
Desirable
- Cloud Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer certifications
- Cross-Cloud Experience: Familiarity with AWS or Azure in addition to GCP
- Testing & Debugging: Advanced experience with automated testing frameworks and debugging complex systems
- Security Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of application security principles, particularly in cloud-native environments
What the job involves
- As Full Stack Engineer (Front-end Focus), you will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and deployment of web and mobile applications, driving technical excellence, and mentoring team members
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs
- As a T-shaped engineer passionate about user experience, you will ensure that customer interactions with the platform are high quality, delivering value with minimal friction
- Full Stack Development: Develop and maintain robust end-to-end solutions, from front-end interfaces to back-end services, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
- Cloud-Native Expertise: Drive the adoption and implementation of cloud-native technologies and practices, with a focus on leveraging GCP services for scalability, reliability, and efficiency
- JavaScript & Node.js: Utilize deep knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and related frameworks to deliver high-quality code that meets rigorous performance and maintainability standards
- Microservices & API Design: Architect and develop scalable microservices and APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data flow between distributed systems
- Database Design & Optimization: Design and optimize database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance across both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., Firestore) databases
- DevOps Integration: Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and maintain high system availability
- Code Quality & Mentorship: Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
- Agile Leadership: Take a leadership role in Agile processes, guiding sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure successful and timely delivery of high-quality software
- Technical Problem-Solving: Lead the resolution of complex technical challenges, utilizing advanced problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions
