Senior DevOps Engineer, Cargomatic

• We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 4+ years of professional practical experience in the following areas, technologies, and processes:
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and creating timely solutions
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and delivering solutions
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Punctual and polite, ready to serve with a smile and a good attitude
• Self Starter who is willing to learn and adapt to a fast pace technology environment
• Requirements (Minimum 2-3 years PRACTICAL experience in the following is required):
• Terraform/Infrastructure as code
• NodeJS Stack
• AWS
• Docker
• NodeJS
• MongoDB/non-relational databases
• ETL pipelines
• Serverless
• Proficient with git/git workflows
• Python (especially boto3/python) + AWS scripting
• Bash Scripting
• CI/CD workflows and tools

Desirable

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for architecting, developing and deploying code to dev, QA, and production environments
• You will work closely in conjunction with other key members of the product and/or engineering team coordinating releases, performing root cause analysis, monitoring critical services, and automating all the things in between
