Who you are

Some experience dealing with customers (e.g. previous experience in a customer service or retail role)
Good telephone manner with excellent attention to detail, making few (if any) mistakes
A strong desire to provide an excellent experience for the customer
The ability to work well under pressure, to learn new systems quickly, to operate efficiently and reliably, to self start without needing to be prompted and to work well in a team
Willing to take on responsibility
(Bonus) The ability to look at your own data and self optimise
(Bonus) Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce would be a big plus)
(Bonus) Passionate and knowledgeable about climate change, sustainability and/or the EV industry

What the job involves

You will be the first point of contact for any new or existing customers
Answer every incoming call to a high standard
Respond to customer emails in a timely fashion
Direct calls to the appropriate person
Guide customers through our website
Log any faults with any of our units and pass information on to the relevant team
Attain great customer satisfaction feedback

Application process

This role will work on a rotating shift pattern and therefore you must be happy to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis

Electric vehicle adoption has risen dramatically in recent years, but EV infrastructure can still be limiting for drivers. Pod Point solves this problem by making and installing electric charging points in homes and public spaces.

Since its launch, Pod Point has grown to become the UK’s largest provider of electric vehicle chargers, with a number of lucrative partnerships with supermarket chains such as Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and Tesco. Energy giant EDF bought a major stake in the company in 2020, a testament to Pod Point’s viability. Now, the company boasts over 240,000 EV charging points.

The company faces competition from the likes of Chargemaster, but its partnerships, and the backing of EDF, will allow Pod Point to remain a leading player in the EV market.
