Engineering Manager, trawa

• 2-3+ years of engineering leadership with a track record of leading strong teams
• Strong technical background in Python backend engineering and cloud infrastructure
• At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering
• Experience working with ML or optimization models in production systems
• Strong mathematical thinking and analytical mindset

• As Engineering Manager for Flexibility Trading, you will lead a very talented cross-functional team building the core of our energy trading stack: from predictive algorithms and optimization engines to secure and scalable backend services that automate market transactions
• You’ll lead and grow a team working at the intersection of machine learning, optimization, and cloud-native backend infrastructure — helping our customers actively participate in the energy transition
• Drive delivery of high-impact milestones through structured weekly processes
• Plan initiatives in alignment with product, backend and trading teams
• Actively unblock the team, enabling engineers to focus on what matters
• Foster a culture of technical ownership and continuous improvement
• Guide architectural decisions and ensure long-term system health
• Maintain a high bar for engineering quality: test coverage, maintainability, documentation
