Who you are
- You want to make a positive impact on the world and fight climate change
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience
- You demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the React Native framework, including hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
- You have a strong understanding of web and mobile application architecture, including performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices
- You are experienced with integrating third-party APIs, libraries, and SDKs, where needed, working with native code beyond the React Native JavaScript
- You have knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to implement pixel-perfect designs that are responsive and adaptive to various screen sizes and device types, working with our designers
- You exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges
- You are full of energy, collaborative, and capable to learn and grow
What the job involves
- As a Senior App Developer (React Native) you will be working in the App & Cloud team on the apps
- You'll work closely with the product team (which builds the hardware and controller for our heat pump), designing and implementing features across the entire stack to ensure that our applications are scalable, maintainable, and built to last
- Our app is built in React Native, and the backend in NodeJS/Typescript
- Work on the front-end (react native) of our apps, for both customers and installers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements for backend and mobile applications
- Integrate with databases, third-party APIs, libraries, and SDKs to enhance application functionality and performance
- Implement responsive and adaptive UI designs, adhering to best practices and ensuring optimal user experience
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges
- Work with testing to ensure application stability and reliability
- Together with the team brainstorm ideas on how to improve our internal processes and help us grow
- Do whatever is needed to make our customers happy and turn Quatt into a huge success!
