Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Test Case Execution, Test Data Generation and Test Reporting experience
- Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to co-ordinate efficiently with client, products, offshore & onshore teams and bridge the communication gaps
- Technical background and an understanding of the apps & ecosystem
- Good development/scripting skills in common languages which are Web-driver compatible language with the Selenium WebDriver API and language-specific client libraries
- Expertise practical knowledge of automated testing tools Selenium & Appium
- Must demonstrate an understanding of test automation frameworks
- Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills
- Excellent Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Energetic and able to work well with others in a client-focused, innovative, and cross-functional environment
Desirable
- At least 2 years of experience testing banking and financial services applications
What the job involves
- Review and understand business requirements, functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
- Maintain requirements traceability in order to keep tight control over evolving business requirements
- Create and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases according to project requirements
- Execution of manual and automated test cases
- Adherence to the testing standards and guidelines, quality procedures, and schedules
- Participation with team members in analysis and design reviews
- Should be able to mentor junior team members in the team
- Provide support for system integration, performance and user acceptance testing as required
- Effectively communicate with internal teams and external clients

Banks globally are scrabbling to compete with their attractive, agile digital-first competitors, so Zafin won’t struggle to find customers. This is especially because it’s expanded to cater to neo-banks, too. With such a broad scope and a strong reputation of its own, Zafin is a confident, highly relevant company, which makes it no surprise that Nordic Capital bought it out in 2024. This acquisition will accelerate Zafin's growth and product development roadmap.
