Who you are

Proficient with Linux
Experience using Docker and related tools to build, manage, update and monitor robust services in containers
Scripting experience and ability to understand Python, Go, or Bash
Strong understanding of networks (LAN, WAN, TCP, UDP, HTTP, iptables, ssh tunnels, nginx configuration, Kubernetes)
Proven experience as a DevOps, System Administrator, or similar role
Pragmatic and solutions-focussed
Strong communication skills
Open source aficionado

Experience with databases and data backup/recovery
Strong knowledge of Cloud Security, Cyber-Security and Information Security
Experience working in B2B or Software as a Service environment

What the job involves

Monitor performance, maintain systems and troubleshoot issues and outages
Create dashboards and systems to make monitoring and metrics available to developers and managers
Be part of our drive towards self-serve infrastructure and gitops
Collaborate with developers to enhance CI/CD GitLab pipelines, tests coverage, and stability
Provide tools and scripts to manage automatic and manual system deployments
Service infrastructure requirements for strategic and ad-hoc projects
