What the job involves

We are looking for a curious legal intern in their 2nd or 3rd year of law school that will apply their legal knowledge and business practices in a fast-paced, real-world environment. As a legal intern, you will work closely with our legal counsel on a variety of legal and risk issues, including in the areas of commercial transactions, product, privacy, corporate, and employment
You will assist with contract audits and some review, and help with contract lifecycle management. Some legal research will be required on novel legal issues that face Forage’s legal function
This position is asking for someone that can work approximately 20 hours per week
Undertake contract audits to ensure compliance
Review and participate in any negotiations of non-disclosure agreements, and some vendor/supplier agreements
Research for and prepare presentations and training for business, security and product teams, on topics such as privacy and data protection
Undertake legal research on various projects as needed
Assist with onboarding of contract lifecycle management software
Draft memorandum for various areas of law
