Who you are

- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of Python development experience using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- 2+ years of experience with relational databases (RDBMS) and SQL
- Other Qualifications:
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Proficient in containerization technologies, particularly Docker
- Experience integrating with external APIs and service providers
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or DynamoDB
- Understanding of technologies and tradeoffs in modern distributed systems
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including automated testing
- Proven ability to work effectively within multi-functional teams in fast-paced, Agile environments
- Highly effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals
- Demonstrated ability to work openly and collaboratively within a diverse team
- Proven ability to participate in on-call rotations and effectively troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and developing clear, compelling solutions through strong reasoning and research skills
What the job involves
- Evisort Engineering is expanding and we are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team. As such, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled engineers, in close collaboration with your Product and Design partners, with the goal of maintaining and expanding our best-in-class contract management offerings
- Your technical expertise and ability to work collaboratively so that the sum is greater than the parts will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision to deliver best-in-class-AI at scale, to transform how major companies optimize and streamline key business processes related to negotiating and managing their contracts
- You will be be instrumental in advancing our AI initiatives and delivering exceptional value to corporate legal departments and business professionals world-wide
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams to build on the vision, strategy and roadmap
- Participate in a collaborative team culture that encourages iteration and innovation, and a deep understanding of both our business domain and of engineering practices to steer engineering decisions
- Have an impact on the professional development and productivity of your teammates
- Be part of a team that will own several functional areas of our platform (“you build it, you run it”)

Workday is a cloud-based software vendor that provides management of workforces and finances. The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.
Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. In 2021, it purchased the employee feedback platform Peakon in response to the growing need for managers to be able to survey workers and collect satisfaction data without face-to-face meetings. The company has also bought and developed many financial tools and HR management tools.
The company’s goal is to provide end-to-end back office services and while there are other providers, such as UKG Pro and Ceridian HCM, Workday’s broad offering helps them to stand out. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
