Role
Who you are
- We need a driven hunter that is comfortable prospecting and owning outreach to new clients
- Experience selling to VP and C level executives
- 7+ years of software selling experience; API and/or logistics experience strongly preferred
- Track record of success selling into enterprise companies
- Consistently deliver on 6+ figure deals
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles using solution selling techniques
- Validated quota achiever
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Team-selling experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel
What the job involves
- Shippo is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive who is responsible for customer acquisition as we grow upmarket
- We need an experienced professional who has a consultative sales approach, a successful track record growing and onboarding clients with polished presentation skills
- You will ultimately be responsible for your own success, ensuring incremental growth in monthly recurring revenue and new logo acquisition, whilst providing the best sales experience possible for our customers
- This role will report directly to our Head of Sales
- Develop and nurture relationships within net-new accounts
- Exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by driving new opportunities
- Generate short-term results whilst maintaining a long-term perspective to improve overall revenue generation
- Work with other upmarket Account Executives to prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources
- Demonstrate/sell value to key stakeholders within the accounts during complex sales cycles
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
- Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
- Partner with Customer Success and Technical Account Management to ensure a seamless handoff experience and high customer satisfaction within your accounts
- In partnership with Shippo’s Head of Sales, co-create a repeatable upmarket sales playbook including: ICP targeting, lead generation strategy, sales methodology and sales process

Shippo provides an order management platform that helps streamline the fulfilment process, allowing operations teams to manage orders, print labels and documentation, track packages, and notify customers. Importantly, it allows Shippo customers, which include UNTUCKit, Bombas, and Aesop, to be more competitive by comparing shipping rates among several carriers.
The company, which not long ago reached unicorn status following received series E funding, is investing into accelerating its mission of simplifying the eCommerce process for businesses through discounted shipping labels, delivering, what the company describes as, the best rates from top carriers.
