Who you are
- Experience in software development, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
- Proficient in Node.js (Express) and React, with practical experience in building applications using these frameworks
- Proven ability to independently design, implement, and deliver production-ready features while debugging complex issues and maintaining application stability in a commercial environment
- A solid understanding of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
- A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges into manageable solutions
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, with exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP being a bonus
What the job involves
- As a Software Engineer at Xero, you’ll play a crucial role in building reliable, scalable solutions

- This is a hands-on, "on the tools" role

- Deliver high-impact projects to integrate Syft Analytics, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement analytics features
- Develop high-quality software that transforms complex data into actionable insights.Uphold engineering excellence by driving best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges to maintain system stability and performance
