Role
Who you are
- Are or have been a data analyst with excellent analytical skills and extensive experience with SQL (and Python ideally). Bonus points for having both data and marketing experience
- Have strong content skills, with a love for story-telling and a good eye for design
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, and a skill for building rapport with people
- Are a natural team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing and engineering
- Have a high level of self-motivation and resilience, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment
What the job involves
- Product examples: You’ll take the lead creating beautiful example canvases and templates that showcase all the ways our customers use Count
- Feature launch campaigns: You’ll work closely with our product and marketing teams to launch and explain new features through blog posts, videos and on social media
- Demo environments: You’ll work with our sales and customer success teams, helping them build supporting materials for customers and maintaining realistic demo environments that they can use
- Tutorials and docs: You’ll help build out an amazing repository of best practice and tutorials to help our users improve their skills
- User community: You’ll be an active member of our user community, supporting users to make the most off Count and level up as data practitioners with AMA meetings, competitions or general encouragement

Although technology has developed quickly in the past years, the way we analyze SQL has remained unchanged. Many businesses fail to make data-driven decisions due to the complexity of traditional data software. Count is a technology startup that is setting out to solve this problem by building a next-generation SQL editor that provides SQL analysts with a modern analytical workflow.
Count enables data teams to find and share insights quickly, supercharging decision-making across their organisation. It provides a seamless workflow for SQL analysis, letting data teams explore their data in a reactive SQL notebook, collaborate in real-time and publish their results as beautiful, interactive data apps that their whole organisation can use.
Count's primary target audience is early-stage tech companies and has been steadily increasing its customer base since raising $2.4 million in seed funding in 2020. Though its team remains small, Count has been intermittently releasing updates to its platform to increase its clients' rates of data distribution. Count, then, evidently continues to remain proactive despite its period of relative quiet through the 2020s.
