Workwhile is a labour platform that connects hourly workers to open shifts that fit their skills, schedule and location. To find reliable, trusted workers, the platform deploys cognitive science, behavioural analysis and peer feedback.
There are other players with this same mission but WorkWhile stands apart by recognising that the idea workers want infinite flexibility, at the cost of stability and reliability, is a total misconception. It therefore refuses to call itself a gig platform as it strives to carve out a reputation as a place where a stable paycheck is guaranteed.
The start-up has invested its funding into driving growth and hiring, as well as forming new partnerships. Whilst currently existing across 13 major U.S markets, the company is working to double its market footprint.
