Role
Who you are
- You have 2-3 years of experience sourcing candidates and managing pipelines for a wide variety of roles within a start-up and/or for high growth tech businesses (e.g. at an agency)
- You are passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and our team
- You are able to build and manage strong relationships internally and externally - you’re a people person!
- You are not afraid to step on toes - you have a bias to action and lots of initiative
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have a very high degree of empathy and care deeply about building a diverse and healthy team culture
What the job involves
- Location: GMT to GMT+2
- You'll be working on a wide range of roles across Tech, GTM and Ops
- You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for your roles, and always ensure a world-class experience
- You will lead our sourcing efforts to find the very best candidates around the world, building a healthy and diverse pipeline for all roles
- You'll work with Grace (Ops Manager) to ensure a great onboarding experience for new joiners
- You will help us to scale the team from 30 to 50 people by the end of 2022, and far beyond next year!
- Over time, you’ll maximize your impact. Depending on your career goals, we can help you to grow into a Senior Recruiter, or we can help you to move into more of a People or Operations role!
- You’ll be playing a key role in building a team and culture people want to work for - we want to make PostHog the last place that people ever want to work
- A broad learning experience - you might work on our careers page or handbook one day, and on recruitment campaigns the next! We are all about autonomy and iteration
- Flexibility in how and where you work - we trust you to manage your own priorities and schedule

PostHog is an open-source product analytics company. Its goal is to increase the number of successful products in the world, which starts with providing engineering teams with tools to help them understand user behaviour better.
The company differentiates itself through its aim to become a one-stop-shop for its clients. There are plenty of product analytics tools out there, but many of the alternatives are SaaS-based. While they are very powerful, they can be frustrating for developers who want full access to the underlying data. PostHog's platform puts the control back in the hands of developers and gives them full visibility over the impact of their work.
The company already counts Y Combinator, SpaceX, Staples, Airbus and Hasura among its clients. It has been rapidly shipping major new features and has plans for many more in the coming months and years. The company is set to grow quickly, having recently capitalized on the news that Google Analytics was deemed illegal in some EU countries with clever marketing tactics, which sent 1,791 unique visitors through to its website and substantially raised brand awareness.
