- Strong experience in Accounts Payable
- Experience managing teams
- Experience in streamline processes
- Good knowledge of Excel is required, preference SAP knowledge
- Attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation and to file documents appropriately
- Work effectively with team members - internal and external to department and within the Quadient Group organisation
- Prioritisation and organisational skills and able to work with deadlines

What the job involves
- Reporting to the Director Management Accounting DACHIT-UKI
- Manage Accounts Payable function within the region, team of 6 senior AP across different entities and countries
- Team is quite senior and does not need much support on the day to day task
- Manager role to manage team, in work prioritization, have regular team and individual meetings, define goals and performance appraisals
- Manager role to streamline and uniformize processed across the region and implement common work practices
- Manage the implementation of any ad-hoc projects within the AP function
- Shared responsibility of the AP function and AP inbox, could be more than 1, needs to ensure all emails are dealt with and responded within time
- Organize mailbox to ensure all closed items are archived correctly
- Obtaining invoice approvals and checking POs
- Keep track of pending approvals and follow up
- Processing invoices, ensure invoices are posted into the correct GL and Cost Centre
- Process Intercompany Invoices and monthly reconciliations
- Ensure correct filling of invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Supplier query resolution in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure compliance process for vendor creation is followed
- Assisting with audit queries
- Payment runs BACS & processing ad-hoc payments, ensuring all approvals are received in advance
- Producing weekly and monthly metrics for the Director Management Accounting
- Providing timely information to other members of the Accounts team and the wider business
