Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience with Backend or Full-stack development
- Strong C# and logical skills, being able to find the right solution to the right problem, instead of the generic solution for the generic theoretical problem
- Strong experience not only with REST development but also gameplay code in authoritative servers
- Strong MongoDB skills, not only in the creation of efficient queries and data structures but also in database maintenance
- Strong knowledge of AWS, being able to manage the infrastructure for both REST servers and real-time gameplay servers
- Experience with high backend applications, orchestration of servers according to load, security, and management
- Experience with dev-ops and automation tasks such as building systems like Jenkins
- Experience with creating tools for user management and process optimization is a huge plus

- We are a small company and for us, initiative and the desire to make the best game possible, to have ownership of your work, and be proud of what you do is at least as important as your experience
- You will wear many hats and are expected to work with REST development in C# with MongoDB, infrastructure management in AWS, and server orchestration for multiplayer games
- You will create no-fuss server-side code, keeping the infrastructure easily maintainable and extendable
- You will architecture infrastructure for low-cost and efficient server management, having experience with best practices of scaling, backups, and security
- You will work in a flexible environment, where what really matters is the quality of your work and your deliverables
- You will have a voice and be able to contribute your ideas and question the direction of the project, code, or anything you don’t agree with
