Who you are
- Experience in B2B sales appointment setting
- Experience using modern sales technologies; Hubspot, Zoominfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator comfort are a plus
- Exceptional and engaging communication skills
- Strong business acumen with a focus on continuous development and improvement
- Ability to work independently with very little guidance and collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional teams and leadership
- A proven history of overachieving targets and KPIs
- Posses a positive, can do, team-player mentality/attitude
What the job involves
- Cold calling/contacting leads from referrals, marketing campaigns, sales development strategies, targeted lists and existing customer & prospect databases
- Meeting and exceeding company assigned quotas and KPI standards
- Setting online product demonstrations for potential suppliers for Sales Account Executives
- Live and breathe out of the company’s CRM - providing accurate detail on all activities at all times
- Being flexible; there will be other selling opportunities that present themselves and we want to add folks to the team that like the challenge
- Be attune to the industry landscape and market trends

Shapeways provides a user-driven marketplace focused on providing rapid turnaround for 3D printed products. The online marketplace offers opportunities for customers to share and produce 3D printed objects at a large scale and rapid speed, resulting in large variety and rapid turnaround. They also work with global enterprises to build high quality prototypes, counting businesses like Google, Target and Kespry amongst their clients.
Shapeways holds a strong industry position following a merger with Galileo Acquisition Corp, which supplied the international and domestic expertise to help expand Shapeways' global reach. In 2023 the company announced it would be doubling its US manufacturing footprint with the addition of two Michigan facilities (in Livonia and Charlotte) that it aims to have up and running in 2024.

Worked in Business Transformation & Sales at Office Depot before taking a Strategy role at Open English, an online learning platform. Was made COO and then President of Open English. Left to become an Executive Board Member at NYC Manufacturing and Industrial Innovation Council. Joined Shapeways as CEO in 2018.
