Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management or related field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise health sales, with a strong preference for experience selling to healthcare payors and providers
- 3+ years of leadership and team management experience
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience building, coaching and motivating a team to ensure the best sales experience for our prospective and current customers
- Successful ownership of full cycle sales process including, demos, navigating internal stakeholders, negotiating contracts, etc
- Proven history of exceeding business goals and growing customer relationships within a fast-paced company
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection, with unwavering tenacity
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM software and Google Suite; familiarity with data analysis and reporting
What the job involves
- As Kintsugi’s Senior Director of Sales, you will be a thought leader in our go-to-market organization and sales strategy
- You will be responsible for building and leading the team in sales processes, forecasting, pitches, and overall execution
- Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Director of Sales will focus on leading the team to achieving the company's sales goals
- Serve as Kintsugi's sales leader while functioning as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team
- Lead the process for setting yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company's short-term and long-term objectives
- Drive the approach to capitalize fully on sales opportunities
- Communicate clearly on sales performance and forecasting, working in tandem with the leadership team to bolster performance
- Establish and implement internal sales processes
Our take
Mental health has become a dominant part of society after many years of falling into a taboo topic category, leaving many going without support. The issue is now so widely recognized that it has been included in the Sustainable Development Goals. Kintsugi is a platform and app offering a way to take hold of people's mental health through voice journaling and self-care documenting.
The company uses Voice API to recognize signs of anxiety and depression when users are documenting. The founders have backgrounds in tech and built the company idea off of their experiences struggling to get support in mental health fast enough. The outcome of these findings is an immediate way for users to get help and a way for employers and primary caregivers to understand what support users need by the app detecting the problem.
The company has raised significant funding since its inception in 2019 and has recently won Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Technology Innovation Leadership Award. Kintsugi has already built an impressive client roster and caught the attention of many, so this innovative idea seems to be taking off.
