- As a campaign operations analyst, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and, ultimately, in our success as an organization. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes are anchored in the following:

- Functional expertise - subject matter expertise of specific functions, including knowledge of principles, practices, and domain knowledge

- Teamwork and communication - putting our collective best together through documentation, collaboration, relationship-building, listening, empathy, recruiting, and evangelism

- Builds networks - effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
- Experience: You have 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or a related performance marketing role. Experience working in a B2B marketing environment is a plus
- Technical Skills: You have strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights. You are proficient in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or other BI/reporting platforms. Experience using SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis is highly valued
- Data & Analytics Expertise: You have a proven track record of using data to drive significant improvements in marketing performance. You also have experience with forecasting, budget modeling, and media effectiveness analysis
- Communication: You have excellent communication and storytelling skills and can synthesize data into business insights and clearly articulate complex analytical findings to diverse audiences
- Attributes: You are highly organized, curious, and proactive, with strong attention to detail. You are able to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Marketing Insights to join our Marketing Operations team
- In this role, you'll be a key part of the Marketing team, owning the reporting and insights function to drive marketing performance analyses
- You will be at the forefront of the company's data-driven marketing efforts, using data to inform and improve marketing strategies in partnership with sales, product, and finance
- This role is crucial for shaping marketing strategy by analyzing performance across various channels, identifying trends, and uncovering opportunities for growth
- Performance Analysis & Insights: Analyze digital marketing performance across multiple channels, such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliate, and Programmatic. Conduct deep-dive, ad-hoc analyses to evaluate paid media effectiveness and identify performance drivers. Translate insights from Marketing-mix modeling and multi-touch attribution models into actionable strategies that improve ROI and guide budget reallocations, in collaboration with Data Science
- Reporting & Visualization: Maintain data visualization dashboards and reports that track key metrics and KPIs. You will also streamline reporting processes to surface real-time insights that improve channel performance
- Strategy & Optimization: Translate insights from various data sources into actionable strategies that improve ROI and guide budget reallocations
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to implement robust tracking and attribution mechanisms. Partner with finance and channel leads to forecast spend, guide investment decisions, and ensure budget alignment across channels
- Operational Excellence: Manage key marketing platforms (e.g., MTA/MMM tools such as Hockeystack) to ensure data integrity and process efficiency. You will also support campaign operations, including budget optimization and allocation

Globally, human resource management has become an extremely fertile field, worth over $20 billion annually and predicted to grow to over $50 billion annually by 2030 - creating great opportunity for Justworks to continue to grow. The company is regarded as a market leader, but does see competition in the shape of Paychex Flex, Rippling, Paylocity, and TriNet, among others.
Solutions delivered by Justworks have proven to be extremely popular with SMEs, and this has not gone unnoticed by investors, with the company picking up exceptional amounts of funding. Justworks is known to have sights on going public, though action towards this end has been delayed until global mass-market conditions have settled from a period of volatility. However, the company's 2024 acquisition of the international employment-of-record (EOR) company Via is a promising sign of it's continued strength.
