Who you are

  • 2-4 years of Product Design experience
  • Design experience at a product-led growth organization
  • Ability to own the end-to-end design process, from rough ideas and wireframes to high fidelity prototypes using tools such as Figma
  • Experience with research and testing methods required to develop customer empathy and validate ideas
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with a focus on impact and learning
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

What the job involves

  • Vidyard is seeking an Intermediate Product Designer to join our Product Design team
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Design, you’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience of the core functionality in our platform, including onboarding, activation as well as video creation and editing with a focus on AI technologies
  • Your work will directly impact how our customers create and share engaging video content, ensuring a seamless and intuitive design
  • In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to deliver exceptional user experiences through research, testing, and iterative design
  • You’ll own the UX strategy and work on high-impact initiatives that align with Vidyard’s mission of helping businesses connect through video
  • This role is perfect for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, product-led environment, expand their design expertise, and drive user-centered innovation
  • Designing the end to end user experience of our onboarding, activation and video creation and editing experiences. As well as, integrating new AI technologies into those workflows
  • Conducting user research initiatives to identify user needs, behaviors, and opportunities
  • Rapid ideation of multiple design concepts and prototypes
  • Conducting user testing to validate design solutions
  • Collaborating with the design team to create a high quality, cohesive user experience
  • Documenting design decisions, processes, and outcomes to ensure that product designs are consistent and can be replicated in the future
  • Owning the UX Design strategy, partnering with your Product Manager and Engineering peers to ensure that designs meet customer, technical and business requirements
  • Using data to make and measure design decisions
  • Giving and receiving regular feedback in design critiques to improve the product experience
  • Working with Senior Designers to continuously improve your knowledge, skills and design toolkit
