Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science or a relevant field with engineering background
- At least 10 years of product management and product leadership experience, previous entrepreneurial experience is highly desirable
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience responsible for a product that is based on Software Development Kit (SDK) technology for mobile applications
- Proven track record in product management of products that offer interactive features on mobile apps and websites with a B2B SaaS revenue model
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with a talent for driving cross-functional collaboration
- Deep understanding of digital market dynamics, mobile application and website architectures, customer needs, and emerging trends in the SaaS industry
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Native or native level Turkish communication skills are a must to be able to interact with the product and development teams located in Turkiye
- Data-driven mindset, with proficiency in using data to inform decision-making
- Proactive and adaptable approach to navigating evolving business landscapes
- Experience in driving growth and scalability initiatives while mitigating risks
What the job involves
- As the Chief Product Officer at Storyly, a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company, you play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our product portfolio to increase revenue consistently
- The responsibilities for the product leader of Storyly encompass a wide spectrum of activities, ranging from feature development and product/market fit expansion to driving growth initiatives and ensuring scalable operations
- Develop and articulate a clear and cohesive product strategy for Storyly that aligns with the company's overall commercial and technological objectives. Make informed choices across dimensions such as company focus, business model, target customer and market, competition, core competencies, and product risk
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new feature development for Storyly and expansion of the product-market fit. Ensure a balanced portfolio that leverages our strengths while meeting diverse customer demands across different categories where Storyly adds value
- Create methodologies for understanding what the customers' urgent problems are and how much value they allocate for solutions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights from customer interactions. Translate these insights into actionable product enhancements for Storyly that address customer needs and pain points effectively
- Establish frameworks for the product team to make data-informed decisions. Enable them to leverage data analytics and market research to validate hypotheses, and refine the product strategy. Set key performance indicators for Storyly’s product portfolio and interpret them to adjust strategies accordingly
- Continuously assess and refine the company's core competencies and competitive advantages so that Storyly as a SaaS product is aligned with them. Ensure that product strategies align with these strengths, enabling sustainable growth while minimizing risk
- Take ownership of the entire product vision, product strategy, product roadmap, and execution
- Proactively identify potential strategic errors by closely monitoring the alignment between customers’ business needs and ongoing product development efforts for Storyly. Communicate effectively to redirect the team's focus towards more promising and compatible strategies
- Develop and articulate a clear and cohesive product strategy for Storyly that aligns with the company's overall commercial and technological objectives
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for new feature development for Storyly and expansion of the product-market fit
- Represent Storyly’s product vision within relevant product communities. Act as a liaison between the executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders such as customers and investors. Clearly communicate the product strategy, objectives, and rationale to ensure a shared understanding and commitment
- Create methodologies for understanding what the customers' urgent problems are and how much value they allocate for solutions
- Establish frameworks for the product team to make data-informed decisions
- Develop systems to constantly improve Storyly’s product and development overhead. Build, lead, and optimize cross-functional product teams. Design efficient processes that facilitate seamless execution of the product strategy, allowing the team to adapt to evolving market dynamics
- Continuously assess and refine the company's core competencies and competitive advantages so that Storyly as a SaaS product is aligned with them
- Proactively identify potential strategic errors by closely monitoring the alignment between customers’ business needs and ongoing product development efforts for Storyly
- Drive initiatives aimed at tuning the product experience for broader audience reach and improved value proposition. Identify and help implement growth hacks, onboarding enhancements, and user engagement strategies
- Represent Storyly’s product vision within relevant product communities
- Develop systems to constantly improve Storyly’s product and development overhead
- As the product leader, remove any obstacles you identify that hinder sustainable growth. Oversee efforts to scale underlying technologies, systems, and processes to accommodate the growing demands of the product and user base. Foster innovation within the team to stay ahead of technological advancements
- Drive initiatives aimed at tuning the product experience for broader audience reach and improved value proposition
- As the product leader, remove any obstacles you identify that hinder sustainable growth
