Who you are
- Strong experience of implementation within Unity Engine (Unreal experience a bonus)
- Adaptive, communication skills, written & spoken
- Effective at giving and receiving feedback
- Experience of using Version Control systems (Perforce)
- Ability to carry out task estimation and communicate status through Jira
- Strong skills in artistic and graphic design
- Experience of wireframing and prototyping
- Has demonstrated ability to work alongside other disciplines
- Has experience working on projects through more than one phase of development, including production and live service
- Proactively contributes to team culture and an inclusive environmen
What the job involves
- Own and define UI & UX deliverables, from concept to project completion. Ensure that the UI & UX meet the relevant quality and useability requirements, and champion the player experience
- Ensure UI/UX align with game vision - working closely with design, engineering and other disciplines
- Proactively collaborate with the producer and team to create a realistic and achievable feature set/backlog
- Take a pragmatic approach to meet deadlines without compromising agreed quality
- Create, update, and share documentation and information to support project teams across disciplines
- When required, communicate and work effectively with external partners and publishers
- The role will initially be a 12 month contract with the potential to extend after this
