Who you are
- Comfortable building end-to-end experiences from backend to CSS
- +2 years of experience with modern web frameworks (Express, Next.js, Typescript, and React)
- +1 years of experience with databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS)

What the job involves
- In this role, you'll build the next-gen platform to verify the origin, quality, and factuality of the world's information. The ideal intern candidate is someone who is a voracious learner, has a history of building applications from the ground up, and can break down complex challenges
- You'll be working on a fast-paced team of passionate builders and partnering closely with our ML and design teams, to create industry-defining software that has attracted over 2M users globally. Past intern projects have been the focus of demos to VCs and state-level policy leaders
- Build and deploy high-impact, intuitive, AI-driven web apps in React, Node, and Tailwind
- Develop top-requested features from our users on our dashboard, chrome extensions, and API
- Utilize product analytics to make data-driven product decisions
- Collaborate with our ML, design, and business teams to develop new product initiatives
- Wear multiple hats and work across the product stack
Our take
Since generative AI exploded onto the scene, it has been put to good use across a range of industries. Unfortunately, it has also been used to ramp up the production of subpar content which is misleading or completely incorrect. Not to mention it has helped proliferate academic fraud.
GPTZero is on a mission to help combat this AI epidemic, with a platform capable of identifying content written by AI tools such as ChatGPT. Its solutions can help teachers, students, writers, recruiters and more to build back the trust that has been broken by easy-to-access gen-AI.
The company's mission is certainly compelling, and investors agree, with GPTZero receiving impressive funding already. It will use the funds to support its roadmap which includes the development and launch of many new features such as an editor platform that records and cites AI usage.
