Who you are
- Education Requirements: Doctorate degree or foreign equivalent in Psychology or related field
- Experience Requirements: One (1) year of experience in the position offered or related occupation
- Must have experience with the following: product analytics and working with event-level data; programming and data manipulation using SQL, Python, and Spark; statistical analysis and deriving insights from large datasets; presenting complex findings to non-technical stakeholders; experimental design and A/B testing; applying causal inference methods to business or product problems; and creating clear and effective data visualizations and dashboards
What the job involves
- Apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze data and derive insights from large datasets to identify ways to improve user experiences for both new and returning users
- Lead a diverse set of data projects, providing insights and recommendations to inform data-driven decisions that drive our recommended systems
- Apply statistical rigor, metric alignment, transparency, and effectiveness to Tubi’s decision-making process
- Help the machine learning team refine their recommendation models to elevate user experiences
- Identify the best strategies to optimize the experiences of new and returning users
- Evaluate experimental designs, including pre-test planning, in-flight monitoring, and post experimental analysis for graduation decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build pipelines and tools and make business-impacting decisions
- Telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy
