Role
Who you are
- BA or BS required
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role in customer success or post-sales account management
- Strong understanding of additive manufacturing or previos experience working with customers in
- Manufacturing or technology verticals
- Experience in establishing and maintaining a Customer Success Platform such as Catalyst
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; strong listener who also exhibits empathy
- Demonstrated project management and presentation skills
- Experience in a startup environment and/or experience in helping to build new teams and functions within an
- Organization

- Conduct regular, proactive outreach to customers to ensure technical performance, productivity, and

- Support customers through continuous evaluation of additive implementations and business strategy, serving
- As a trusted advisor and helping customers maximize their investment in the Fortify platform
- Own the entire onboarding and training workflow to ensure immediate satisfaction and quick time to value
- Serve as the primary liaison to our customers and provide meaningful and thoughtful Voice of the Customer
- Feedback for our Product and Engineering teams
- Partner with the Applications Engineers to develop suitable content such as webinars, white papers, and
- Other marketing collateral to ensure customer success
- Work with the Product and Applications team to construct and distribute relevant product documentation such
- As training manuals, product cheat sheets, and knowledgebase articles
- Serve as main point of contact and oversee execution of Professional Services engagements including
- Project management responsibilities
Our take
While 3D printing is often used at home for creative and small-scale production, in recent years interest has grown in its larger scale manufacturing capabilities. Fortify is a 3D printing company which focuses on manufacturing parts with optimized structures for extremely specialized applications which need to take advantage of narrowly controlled thermal and magnetic properties.
Using a patented printing process that utilizes magnetics and digital light processing technology, Fortify is able to create precision components for use in a range of applications, from recyclable plastic containers, to electric vehicle prototyping. Its specialization in RF applications in particular allows it to stand out in an increasingly crowded field, with its component having at least a 10x higher resolution than its closest competitors.
This focus seems to have paid off, as at the end of 2022 Fortify attracted a large strategic investment from Lockheed Martin Ventures. This funding is being used to improve Fortify's printing process and boost development of its RF manufacturing capabilities in particular. As more manufacturers switch to the cost savings and increased capabilities of precision-made 3D printed parts, Fortify is in an excellent position to continue its growth.
