Our take

For law firms and claims administrators, it can be difficult to get information from claimants in a timely manner, contributing to hours of staff time being spent on extra admin and communication. FinLegal provides a claims automation solution to make mass torts, mass arbitration, and class actions more efficient and cost-effective for firms, as well as supplying a marketplace for litigation funding and After-the Event insurance.

FinLegal’s claims automation solution has processed thousands of claimants, providing a self-serve process that they can use through their mobiles or PCs. Through the platform, firms can source, onboard and manage everything, from ID checks and digital signatures, to settlement payments. FinLegal’s marketplace lists a range of funders and insurers covering different types and sizes of dispute, ensuring users can secure the service they need easily and in confidence.

FinLegal provides services to a range of UK firms including Keller Postman, RPC, and Shoosmiths. The company has expanded into the US, with hopes to capitalise on the great number of US law firms that would benefit from automation in their mass torts and class actions.
