Who you are
- Degree or MS in marketing a plus - Degree minimum required. Digital marketing experience a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MS, Photoshop, creative studio a plus
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English required, additional language skills a plus
- Interest or experience exploring the world of investing, finance and trading
- A seasoned Digital Marketing Manager, with a track record of driving new customer growth in financial services / FinTech
- A global team player, energized by collaborating and leading across cultures and geographies. Proven success in creating global best practice and then delivering innovative and engaging localized marketing strategies across multiple countries
- Demonstrated commercial and analytical acumen that can expertly prioritize and navigate a complex environment, and continually improve marketing performance
- You'll have demonstrated experience in Search, Display, Social and Partnerships, either in-house or within a specialist agency. Expert in current MarTech/Analytics platforms (e.g. SalesForce MC, Google Marketing Platforms and GA, Smartly, AdLib, SproutSocial)
- Adept at stakeholder engagement, a great listener and communicator, proven success at operating within a matrix
What the job involves
- IG is looking for a Digital Acquisition Manager who will optimize acquisition strategy, execution and programme management across our UK & APAC region, through partnership, analytical rigour and a testing mindset
- Join the Regional Marketing team for UK, APAC and Emerging Markets, In this newly created position, you will be responsible for driving new customer growth across key markets by transforming our digital prospecting strategy through the funnel from awareness to conversion
- You will collaborate across the organization to define growth strategies and testing plans that attract new segments and differentiate IG against traditional and challenger competitors
- Lead the development of regional acquisition strategy across the UK, SW, UAE, SA, ANZ, SG, JP and Emerging Markets region, in partnership with the Local Marketing Leaders and Group Acquisition centres of excellence
- Programme management and reporting of key regional and local projects
- Analyzing and reporting of results, and development of action plans to optimize and grow

Founded in 1974 by Stuart Wheeler as a UK-based spread betting company for gold, IG Group, abbreviated from Investors Gold Index, was initially set up to allow people to speculate and trade on the price change of gold without owning physical gold. And in the year 2000, it was listed on the London Stock Exchange and its gradual evolution into the world of fintech began.
By 2011, the company had played a part in numerous international buyouts before narrowing its focus down to financial wagers. During the latter half of that decade, IG shut down its binary options trading platform and focused instead on building an investment portfolio with partner BlackRock Investments, all whilst maintaining its Forex and CFD trading processes. Since then, it has become a fast-paced market leader in the investment space.
In recent years, IG Group has developed major platforms for various trading actions and has grown profit and revenue significantly. Alongside this it has acquired a number of companies, including tastytrade and Freetrade, and launched its own crypto product, making it the first UK-listed company to launch crypto trading to retail investors. This further proves how much of a staple IG Group is in the world of financial trading.
