Role
Who you are
- 2-4 years experience in accounting role
- Continuity revenue experience a plus
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Proficient in the use of spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- BS/BA in business, accounting or relevant field
- CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
What the job involves
- Maintain full ownership of the Continuity business, including all revenues and expenses journal entries for monthly accounting close
- Support the annual budgeting and weekly forecasting processes for all revenue streams and growth initiatives
- Build financial models related to subscription boxes business initiatives with solid underpinning in subscription lifecycle and unit economics
- Reconcile monthly payments and make sure applied to proper accounting months
- Support thought process and analysis that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business
- Collaborate closely with leaders across the business to understand trends, analyze and communicate the business impact, and collaborate on the development of solutions
- Help Finance team determine adequacy of reserves for returns and bad debt
