Who you are
- Minimum 7+ years of global Talent Acquisition leadership experience, from strategy to operational execution, ideally in a rapidly growing tech organization
- Extensive knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing, employer branding, candidate assessment, and selection techniques
- Experience leading and managing a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, and developing their capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics and metrics to inform recruitment strategies and measure success
- Operations experience mindset: ability to standardize, evolve, as well as mature, our recruitment processes and internal hiring practices
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex recruitment challenges

What the job involves
- Lead and manage a team of talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the delivery of high-quality candidates and exceptional candidate experiences
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers, and executive leadership to understand talent needs and develop effective sourcing, attraction, and selection strategies
- Lead headcount planning and advise our leadership team on hiring strategies in alignment with growth expectations
- Establish and measure key talent acquisition metrics to ensure widespread internal stakeholder understanding of our recruiting operations efficiency and effectiveness and deliver insights to enable future talent strategy evolution
- Collaborate and partner with Aiven’s broader people teams and business leadership to understand and proactively address key concerns in attracting, motivating, and retaining high quality, diverse talent
- Stay on top of new trends in the talent acquisition space, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting practices and insights
- Strengthen the brand of the Talent Acquisition team by continuously delivering on expectations, and communicating successes and wins throughout the organization
- Drive our Talent Acquisition diversity & inclusion journey from the very first touchpoint so as to ensure that Aiven attracts and finds the best talent around the globe
