• Udemy is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Business Operations. This position will take a lead role in developing our mid-to-long range growth strategy
• In addition, the VP will build the decision support mechanisms that drive sustained priority identification and operational efficiencies in carrying out key initiatives
• Reporting to the CFO, this role will also set foundational structures for quantitative and qualitative analysis of business opportunities in partnership with finance
• The top candidate will establish themselves as a thought leader in the Edtech and Future of Work industries and cultivate relationships with other experts to ensure Udemy is considering different ideas and perspectives as we build the business
• Develop deep framing for business strategy and coordinated planning process, including company-wide OKR delivery
• Structure a market entry framework and provide guidance to teams working on launches, position, pricing, monetization innovations, etc. Identify, analyze and recommend new products and markets in coordination with relevant teams. Help leadership understand the opportunity costs and tradeoffs associated with both “go” and “no go” decisions
• Develop long term operating model design and roadmaps for executionPrepare and present strategic advisory briefs to leadership and the Board of Directors and then work with all the necessary cross functional teams to plan for execution
• Serve as an intellectual sparring partner + strategist to leaders across the company
