Who you are
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or any other related fields; or equivalent related professional experience
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a CRM role, preferably in the e-commerce and/or online marketing space
- Ability to drive planning and decision making to deliver on key objectives, in a data and insights-driven way
- Ability to influence across teams and partners
- The ability to demonstrate leadership skills, and a passion for team development, performance and results either directly or indirectly in matrixed organizations
- Strong analytical skills, with exposure to multivariate testing techniques
- Ability to collaborate with creative and marketing partners to develop innovative marketing campaigns
- Highly attentive to detail in dealing with complex projects and time-sensitive initiatives
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Experience with Jira, Tableau, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other communication tools are all a plus)

- The Segment Marketing (CRM) Senior Manager will be responsible for driving communication (email, push notifications, in-product placements, and landing pages) and promotions across key customer segments and Expedia Group Brands
- Be responsible for setting strategy, ongoing planning and delivery of key CRM campaigns across several of core Expedia Brands to drive key business objectives, working closely with relevant teams to ensure successful delivery (such as CRM production and operations, capabilities, finance, analytics, creative and brand teams)
- Create, align and communicate the strategic vision, project plan, progress and performance of the owned CRM campaigns to senior stakeholders in a clear, structured, and succinct manner
- Partner closely with Brand teams to determine the needs from TEaL to support emerging and planned strategies and activities in service of unique brand positioning. Aggregate and prioritize actions and integrate with work planning across TEaL
- Drive team effectiveness by setting example, sharing best practice knowledge, and promoting collaboration and productivity
- Leverage research, data and test insights to identify opportunities and develop strategies to enhance comms and promotions impact and improve customer experience
- Ensure stakeholder alignment, technical & creative briefing aligns to plans. Sign-off on test and channel-specific designs, as well as final creative before send
- Influence our capability roadmap to enhance our campaigns end-to-end
- Ensure TEaL delivers against Brand level objectives that are agreed based on specific initiatives

Its primary web businesses include Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com, and Egencia.com.
Between 2021 and 2022, Expedia has been selling and merging a list of its sub-brands in a bid to simplify its operations, including Egencia and Classic Vacations. Due to plummeting share prices, mostly in the case of its sub-brands, Expedia has been leveraging its subsidiaries' customer base and merging them into the company’s core brand. Contrasting this move, Expedia has also been partnering with tech start-ups in a bid to make travel more accessible to underserved groups. Becoming Rentable, a travel company for the disabled is one of 12 startups that are part of Expedia Group’s new Open World Accelerator Programme.
What this indicates is Expedia’s shift from buying other travel companies and a move towards enhancing the experience of its preexisting customer base. This move is aiding in a long-term plan for greater long-term traveler loyalty, utilizing Expedia’s vast amounts of data, not just from reviews, but from check-in, cleanliness, communication, cancelations, etc to inform how guests experience a property.
