Who you are
- Business insights and communication skills are a must as we need to both attract world-class talent and align the business operations with the exciting strategic and market future in front of us
- Numbers and outcome oriented mindset
- High attention to detail with a focus of understanding what is behind a number
- Seek out precision in models but know when to cut the significant digits
- At least three years of experience in a financial analyst, consulting or investment banking role
- Proven expertise with Excel/Sheets; Helpful to know SQL, Looker/BI data
- Ability to develop and manage financial models independently
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, from clerical staff to executives, and manage relationships with external parties
- Have working experience with Financial Reporting tools like Adaptive, being part of the implementation process a plus
What the job involves
- Addepar is seeking a Finance Planning Analyst to join our FP&A Team
- You will build and own key analysis areas to help the company measure and guide improved business execution
- You will help implement the corporate planning systems and processes used to plan the budgets and spending across the company
- Your analysis will help guide our partners across the business to achieve company goals

- Responsible for supporting the close process and related reporting, including, but not limited to prepaid analysis, vendor cost reviews, and headcount reporting
- Design, automate, and optimize flexible financial planning models, systems & processes to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-growing business
- Own a lane of company expenses, and seek insight and understanding to partner with the business leaders to resolve competing business priorities
- Build dashboards and variance / operational reviews
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize ROI
- Interact with senior executives and board regarding financial matters as needed

The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022 and appointing new leadership members from the likes of Oracle and Amazon Web Services. Addepar is certainly gaining momentum as it expands operations and further innovates its suite of solutions.
